Plymouth Prowler

Car companies just really, really want their factory hot-rod concept to catch on. Unfortunately, mass-produced hot rods are lame.

Case in point: the Plymouth Prowler. This 1990s era, retro inspired Chrysler hot rod was pointed towards the oh-so lucrative “mid-life crisis” demographic. Unfortunately for Chrysler, dads need power. And the Prowler, with its standard automatic transmission and 250 horsepower V6 engine, couldn’t quite cut it.
