Fuller Dymaxion

What do you get when you tack three wheels on to a zeppelin-inspired hull? For starters, you get a terrible idea.

The Fuller Dymaxion was designed and built in the 1930s as a solution to the fast-modernizing motor vehicle industry. The guy who designed it, R. Buckminster Fuller, was a bit a kook. As one would assume, given the vehicles odd design. The Dymaxion was unsuccessful, due in large part to a fatal crash that scared off most prospective customers. And yes, it’s still incredibly dangerous.
