Jim Clark’s Fatal Crash
Despite being a minor race on the Formula Two circuit, there were a lot of well-known racers that took part in this one. World champion Jim Clark lost his life that day after losing control and crashing into a tree.
Stan Fox’s Crash – Indy 500 1995
For the last of our worst racing accidents of all time, we return to the famous Indy 500. In 1995, the nose of Fox’s car was completely ripped off during a horrific accident on the very first lap. He did survive, but the accident ended his racing career.
