The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is the icon of America in the 1950s. No one really remembers the Ford or Dodge competition, but everyone remembers the two tone Chevy with the gas cap in the tail light.

Although there isn’t much groundbreaking or new for the time about the Bel Air, it makes this list because it’s a cultural icon and I doubt we’ll see another car stand the test of time like this. It makes you nostalgic for Rock n’ Roll and drive-in movies.
