Mercedes-Benz W196

It’s not a Ferrari! While it might be a nice break to look at another manufacturer’s car for a moment, don’t go thinking you’ll be getting a discount just because the Ferrari badge is missing. This Mercedes-Benz W196 is considered to be the second most expensive car ever sold, changing hands for $29,607,760 in 2013.

So why was this one so expensive? Exclusivity. Every other W196 in existence resides within a museum, meaning that the owner of this car literally has the only one in private possession. After a long day of shopping, it must be easy to find this vehicle in the parking lot, seeing as there isn’t another one like it on the road – anywhere.
