Inductive charging

Somehow the idea of plugging in an electric car on a regular basis doesn’t excite everyone. While some think it has to do with pure laziness, another explanation is the fact that you’d be risking getting shocked with enough electricity to fry up a few Christmas turkeys in an instant.

This is where the genius of inductive charging comes in. Instead of messing with a plug, inductive charging involves the car’s batteries getting replenished through the air. Not only is it safer, it’s not nearly as scary as the snake-like robot charger Tesla showed off not that long ago. That’s the kind of stuff nightmares are made of.
