1963 Aston Martin DB5: Goldfinger

The last car on the list is the original Bond car: the 1963 Aston Martin DB5. Although you can’t actually get one like James Bond’s, since his could turn into a submarine and was equipped with machine guns at the front…which, for obvious reasons, most of us can’t have on a daily driver. But there’s no denying the car’s suave looks. You can almost hear it asking for a martini stirred, not shaken.

A little known fact about the DB5 is that it wasn’t supposed to appear in the movie Goldfinger — Ian Fleming, the author of the Bond series, had originally written a DB3 be used. At the last minute, Aston Martin decided it would be better to feature their latest model.
